. . . the 2010 IBLP Christmas Conference!
Give And It Shall Be Given Unto You
Have you noticed how often the simple act of giving a good-natured: “Merry Christmas!” makes it more of a “merry Christmas” for you yourself as well? Why? Because a cheerful greeting is one of the most basic forms of giving. Last weekend our family was strengthened and encouraged at the IBLP Christmas Conference. So many […]
A Little Christmas Seasoning
This morning we read Psalm 133 about the beauty of brethren dwelling together in unity. At breakfast we all talked about what has helped us in our efforts to be best friends. Michael: One thing that has helped me build good relationships with my brothers and sister is realizing that it is my fault if […]
Two Wonderful Weekends With the WilkesTeam!
Two whirlwind weekends in a row! How can we summarize such a wonderful time? November 20th was a large Craft Show in Fairfax, Virginia. It was the largest craft show we had ever been a part of and all together with the Wilkes we had close to fifty different things for sale. Each one was […]
First Snowfall
We woke up to a beautiful white blanket of snow this morning, created by the first snowfall of the season! It was great fun to include Anthony, a hardcore Floridian from Orlando who had never seen snow before, in our routine shoveling responsibilities of the day. 🙂

Inspiration on the Ivories
This past summer, after lots of encouragement from friends and family, Clayton Reedstrom and I had several piano duets recorded by Nathan Corduan. My brother James came up with an inspiring design and IBLP offered to sell them for us at store.iblp.org. Clayton and I have really enjoyed playing praises to our Lord together. We’re […]
Pic of the Month: November ’10
Hangin’ In There As I was going through the pictures I had taken over the past month, this one clearly stood out as the one with the most suggested activity: that split-second moment between swinging out of the tree and landing safely on the ground. Well, suggested at best; it really wasn’t as perfect timing […]
“…Thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.”
Yesterday I told a friend that it would be a miracle if I ever shot a big buck, for five specific reasons. Today I shot a big buck – the biggest we’ve ever seen on our property in fact! God seems to have a sense of humor. Happy Thanksgiving to all.
Travels in Singapore and Malaysia
Last week I spent some time in Malaka, Malaysia, attending the annual Southeast Asian ATI Conference. We flew into the Singapore airport and I was immediately impressed with its beauty and cleanliness. I normally don’t take pictures of baggage claims but this one was amazing. The whole city was very clean! Leaving Singapore, we drove […]
