“…Thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.”

Yesterday I told a friend that it would be a miracle if I ever shot a big buck, for five specific reasons. Today I shot a big buck – the biggest we’ve ever seen on our property in fact! God seems to have a sense of humor. Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Neat Michael, you can enjoy God’s bountiful provision for Thanksgiving – just like the pilgrims!

I am thanking the Lord with you Michael! And any time throughout the next year that we want to bring up a good story, all we need to do is tell people to ask you for the story behind your buck. I’ll be off to Triangle Treestand right now!

CONGRATULATIONS Michael!! We love the pictures; kinda makes the trigger fingers itch! 🙂 You can see our “slightly” smaller trophies at http://aigunstocks.com/2010/11/21/hunting-buddies-part-2/. 🙂

It was fun to hear the story behind it!

It was a fun story to tell! Sometimes the story can be a bigger trophy than the deer – and can keep getting bigger, long after the fact! 🙂 By the way, “big buck” means big by our standards. I doubt if this deer would be considered big by most standards and I know would be considered small by many. It was fun to talk to friends from OH last Sunday who regularly pass up deer way bigger than this for the 200+ B & C pointers. 🙂
