Last Wednesday, I traveled out to the Child Evangelism Fellowship International Headquarters in Warrenton, Missouri, to commence work on the 2014 CEF Calendar! It’s a new place with new faces, but I already feel like it’s the great beginning of a great project. I’ve been designing calendars for CEF for three consecutive years now, and […]

Sassafras Season

It might be winter now, but Sassafras (or Sassyfras to some) season is just around the corner! Some time in the first half of February, well before the trees start to bud and after the ground has thawed, you can dig out a few Sassafras roots (a little goes a long way) and enjoy Sassafras […]

Babysitting Sauntina!

It is such a joy to have an evening with Sauntina while Robert and Kendalyn are out on their date night. Last week Sauntina and I decided we would try making a video to capture all the fun we have. It’s not bad for a first attempt. For our sequel we plan to hire a […]

Winter Fun at HQ!

Friends are such a blessing!!!

For most of us, it has never […]

Continuing a Christmas Tradition . . .

. . . decorating Christmas cookies! For as long as I can remember, we’ve decorated sugar cookies (with as much detail as possible!) at Christmastime as a family. It’s loads of fun, and it  never ceases to amaze me that the creativity of one year seems to always surpass the creativity of the year before!

Preparing to Celebrate!

Christmas ribbon!

The birth of Christ is such a joyous cause of celebration! Here at HQ we are having a great time getting ready for the Christmas Conference. I thought you might enjoy seeing some pictures of the decorating process around here and shots from a couple outstanding Christmas Concerts at Moody Church.
