Out of stock

Upon request of our children to provide a way of helping our grandchildren memorize and meditate on the Scriptures, we have illustrated all six verses of Psalm 1 in a handy, plastic-protected, 38-page “brag book”. This passage encourages children to desire godly rather than ungodly behavior.

Pictures enable children to visualize key words and major concepts, helping the parent and child to hide God’s Word in their heart. Each of the 19 colorful hand-drawn illustrations correspond with word-for-word text from the Bible and can be enjoyed by children of all ages. Text available in KJV and ESV.

God promises that whatsoever we do will prosper as we delight in His Word and meditate on it day and night. (See Psalm 1:2-3.)

This book offers a fun way to learn, memorize, and meditate on God’s living Word.

I have seen great benefit from reading this book with my nieces who are toddlers. We all jump onto the bean bag, read the words from the book, and talk about the pictures. Now they can quote much of the chapter themselves. I’ll begin quoting a verse while I’m getting them ready for bed or changing their diaper. I say, “and in his law shalt thou meditate” and the girls finish the verse for me, “day and night!” I love how reading this book together opens up an opportunity to explain the meaning of the verses. The pictures are beautifully done and the stick people’s expressions are so cute and delightful to look at. Great product.
