Celebrating the 4th
Here are a few pictures of the 4th of July weekend from Robert and I’s perspective. The pictures speak for themselves!
“I venture to suggest that patriotism is not a short
and frenzied outburst of emotion but the tranquil and steady dedication of a lifetime.” — Adali Stevenson
What fun! Incredible fireworks! How did the photo contest go?
Neat view of the silhouetted boys!
Amazing–There were some great opportunities to capture the right lighting in those pictures.
Wow! What a great celebration! The fireworks look amazing…ours got rained out here in OK, but we got to see lots of God’s fireworks (lightening) instead! 🙂
You’re right the pictures do speak for themselves. This is a day worth celebrating:
Just imagine what the world would be
without the shining path to see:
The USA to lead the way!
Truth… Freedom… Happiness!
Religion… Morality… Political prosperity!
Scripture… Christianity… Utopia!
It amazes me what the world could have but does not want. Christians, let’s be doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving our own selves.
May the joy we experience in celebration of these memorable days draw us to remember the price so many willingly paid. And may we stand ready to pay the same!
Wow, I always admire your photos! I’ll have to show you some of mine from the 4th. God bless
What a day! Great shots, James!
