Tonight is the night!

Well, our plane takes off for Lima, Peru, at 3:00AM tomorrow morning! That doesn’t leave much more time for preparation, but God has supernaturally allowed literally impossible things to get done over the past few days. Take for example, the business cards for all 50 team members.

After days of work, the portraits and family pictures on each card, plus life verses and short bios, have been assembled by Thursday night. Each team member looks over their card for corrections and final changes. Once these edits are entered, we can go to print, right? Wrong! With less than 60 hours before departure, it was decided to translate them into Spanish!

A dedicated team worked all day Friday till midnight to do the translation. Another team worked the night shift until 6:00 Saturday morning to enter and fit the translated text. Then yet another team worked on printing, perforating, and collating them all day Saturday. It happened! but it took teamwork. We are looking forward excitedly to seeing God do many more supernatural and greater things this next week.

Keep posted! Like the last trip in July, I hope to keep everyone updated on the events of our trip by posting every evening.

So excited to hear your update, James!! Whatever you are able to share with us, we rejoice, and use it to be spurred on for prayer. From Ps.84 “They go from strength to strength, every one of them… the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly.” God bless you!
