Beauty for Ashes

Have you ever seen a spruce tree with white flowers??? Thankfully, this single tree (other than some deer that were lost) is one of the only things on the farm that suffered long-term damage from the “long winter”. We didn’t weed-whack around it for a while and the Lord “made it beautiful in His time”. At least a little more beautiful that it otherwise would have been.

That’s crazy! I can’t believe that’s our little tree by the pond! The others look like Christmas trees! What is the explaination?

I said I thought we should let all our spruce trees die so they would all grow beautiful white flowers. 🙂 It’s actually a wild carrot (“Queen Ann’s Lace”) that grew right at the base of the tree and all its white flowers looked just like they were growing on the dead tree itself.

OK. That’s more like it. Thanks.
