Every step, by which they have advanced to the character of an independent nation, seems to have been distinguished by some token of providential agency. I really feel the Lord is wanting me to understand this since it was also the topic on Joyce Myers. Could you please explain this topic a bit further. Our family has always believed but just recently have learned to apply and follow the word. Our 7 year old son is using BJU Bible Truths for study and would like to understand a bit more on your post.

The single most helpful source of information I can recommend is the Wallbuilders. Coral Ridge Ministries has also published a concise book “What They Believed” addressing the beliefs of Washington, Jefferson and Lincoln. The book on one of my previous posts: George Washington the Christian was also excellent. God be with you as you follow Christ and the sterling examples He found worthy to bless our nation with.
