Revival in the Northwoods!
Today was incredible! Over one hundred students from Verity College had gathered with Mr. Gothard to seek the Lord for a week in the beautiful Northwoods of Michigan.
After a day of delighting in the Lord through fasting, times alone in prayer, powerful preaching, study of the Word with others, and “entertaining” God, the Spirit of the Lord fell on the group in power. Over an hour of spontaneous life-changing testimonies brought many to tears and climaxed in a moving communion service. Praise God!
God has answered prayer in a powerful way! The joyful spirit of “one accord” was felt the entire rest of the evening as each one enjoyed fellowship during a delicious dinner at the dock, preaching on the lakeside as the sun set, and singing around the campfire. It was a powerful start to a tremendous school year at a college like none other!
“Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33
Amazing – a genuine spirit of revival – indeed an excellent way to start the school year. This is why Jesus came, that we might have life and have it abundantly (Jn 10:10)
Praise the Lord Robert. The pictures brought to mind the times that Jonathan and I had in the “wilderness” and it was wonderful to hear how many others experienced the same things as we did in an even greater measure. May this college always retain its verity!
PTL! And what a great way to begin college. And I didn’t know Caleb was there; he played the piano at the ITC during singing practice in Life Focus. Looks like a great group.
Praise the Lord for such a great beginning for Verity College! What a joy that must have been to be there and watch God work!
