Focusing on the One Needful Thing

The fourth week of the Fall 2008 Life FOCUS program was spent in the Northwoods of upper Michigan on a “Journey to the Heart.” The time to set aside everything I was trying to finish and just focus on the one thing that is needful was precious. My heart was revived and I saw afresh the urgent need to keep my heart with all diligence so Michael helping to stack the wood that all my life and work can be an outworking of God’s righteousness. And how my soul was thrilled, as students examined their hearts in the light of God’s Word, to see Him bring them to the place of trusting Him entirely with their hearts and lives. May Jesus Christ be praised!

It was neat to hear you live, Michael, sharing your testimony. It really was a great trip. You summed it up well.

I was planning on posting more pictures here on our blog but decided I didn’t need to as a great summary in pictures can be found under the above link “Northwoods of upper Michigan.”

“… All my life and work can be an outworking of God’s righteousness”! How different His righteousness is. God bless you with humility and an awareness of His working through your life.
