Moments of Inspiration

Visiting the Museum of Science and IndustryOut for a lovely dinner with Dad and Mom

Let me share a poem and some quotes that have encouraged me recently:

“I love to see the sunlight spread across the bright spring grass

As it highlights hills and meadows and the trees.

I love to see the sunlight touch the dew drop’s sparkling glass

I want the sunlight of His presence over me

To shine on each decision,

To verify what’s taught,

To brighten each perspective,

To saturate each thought.

Expel the sin and darkness, send the truth to set me free.

I want the sunlight of His presence over me.”

The following quotes are from a message I heard from the Benham brothers:

  • “The problem today is not the presence of darkness, the problem is the absense of light.”
  • “Wind might blow out a candle but it will increase the fire if the coals are burning hot.”
  • “Satan is pointing at us with an empty gun.”
  • “The greatest compliment God can give you is to put you in the game.”
  • “We get to stand!” vs. “We have to stand.”

Thank you for sharing these thoughts, Esther! That poem is beautiful.

Recently, at the Freedom 2015 conference, we were blessed to hear the Benham brothers speak for the first time; what a testimony for the Kingdom they are having as a result of the persecution and ridicule they have experienced. What an encouragement to each of us, to respond as our Savior would in the face of pain and trial, trusting Him to take care of the rest.

ESTHER: THAT POEM IS BEATIFUL. ELLOS SIN DUDA, SON UNA BENDICION PARA USTED QUERIDA. MY FAVORITE, IS THE LAST ESTROFA: ESTAR DE PIE, POR SUPUESTO QUE LOS HIJOS DE DIOS DEBEN DE ESTAR SIEMPRE DE PIE, CLAMANDO A VIVA VOS AL SEÑOR. BLESSING FROM ARGENTINA.¿USTED ES MAESTRA DE ESCUELA ESTHER? USTED CONOCE MI PAIS?.
