It’s a Boy!
On April 7 at 7:47pm, weighing 7lb 4oz, Joshua Lawrence Staddon gave the world another reason to rejoice. We praise the Lord for giving Kendalyn strength for the delivery and a happy, healthy baby. Thank you all for your prayers!
Ironically, on Monday before the name had been announced, several of us happened to be reading the story of Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain and his historic charge at the battle of Gettysburg. Little did we know that very evening Kendalyn would go into labor, bearing the child who would share his name and the legacy of valor and courage at a critical moment in our nation’s history.
“And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him.” (Luke 2:40)

Congratulations, Staddon family!!
What a blessing. He is darling; and praise the LORD for the many answered prayers through his arrival.
May the LORD use little Joshua mightily in the furtherance of His Kingdom, for His glory.
Praise the Lord!!! Congratulations!!! Such a sweet, precious little man to be raised for the kingdom of God. Looking forward to meeting the little fella some day, Lord willing.
So excited for you all!!!! We were overjoyed to hear the news of a first little nephew in the Staddon family. Joshua Lawrence will have many good examples to look up to in years to come. May he be a man that will stand for what is right and not be afraid to proclaim the Name of Christ. The Wilkesteam sends a hearty “Congratulations” to each one of the Uncles, the favorite Aunt..:-), and the Grandparents.
P.S. I love the name Joshua, especially since I have a very special older brother with that name…:-).
Praise the Lord. Yes, we need more Joshuas!
God bless him to be strong in spirit, filled with wisdom and bearing evidence of God’s great, gracious, grace!
I think I will walk over there and give him another visit right now.
What a thrill to be there and serve and pray at the time of the delivery.
We praise the Lord for all those who were able to be there to help and encourage Kendalyn.
Welcome to the family, Joshua! We thank God for you! Congratulations to your mom & dad, your big sisters, your grandmas & grandpas, your aunts & uncles, your cousins, & your great grandparents!!! Great pics!
