Some highlights this past month included seeing children grow closer to the Lord at Bible Club, watching the Lord provide volunteers to continue the work in the schools, skating on Chicago’s new ice ribbon (pictured  above), making marshmellows with Sauntina, attending CEF training, family times at Robert and Kendalyn’s, discovering Sweet Tomatoes (A new favorite restaurant), the beauty of sparkling snow and a wonderful reunion with Kara Lee Davies!

Another special highlight from the Lord has been a new perspective on being a channel. I’ve often asked God to make me a channel of His love to others but only recently have I seen myself as a channel to the Lord of burdens, fears and needs of people. Hearing about them is overwhelming unless I immediately channel them to the Lord casting every burden that is laid on me onto Him. “Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and He shall sustain thee:” – Psalm 55:22
