Thanks to a Veteran

We are with you in the battle Grandpa Between Veterans’ Day and Thanksgiving Day, in the midst of political change, climate change (weather change), and yes even the time change, here is a tribute to a veteran with unchanging character. First of all, we appreciate his natural awareness of others and their needs We appreciate his steadiness as a patriarch. We have benefited from his wise financial decisions. We want to follow his example of loyalty and dedication to nonnegotiable principle. We enjoy Sunday dinners with you and watching the West Virginia Mountaineers on occasion but we know that most of what we enjoy is built on sacrifices you chose to make long before we ever came on the scene. Thank you. By God’s grace we will know the challenge and fulfillment of sacrifice. We won’t forget that freedom and order and rest and security are not as free as they seem to be. We have a chance to build on those things today … thanks to a veteran. God bless you as you have blessed us.Times together as a family are valuable. Consider all that needs to happen for them to take place! Let a veteran know how thankful you are.
