“My Joy Therefore is Fulfilled”

“He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled" (John the Baptist, speaking of Jesus in John 3:29).

One of the foremost characteristics of Robert and Kendalyn’s wedding was joy.

It was a wedding that brought attention and glory to God first.

It was a wedding that was patterned after Christ and the Church.

It was a union of two entire families, a pleasure for us to get to know the Kowalchuks.

It was a reunion that reunited many old friends across North America.

It was a very enjoyable (and even relaxing) time for many.

It was a time of feasting! (Thanks not only to the families of the bride and groom, but also to all of you who threw in an incredible amount of time and energy!)

It was a time to “stand and hear” and be a witness of what God had joined together.

It was a time that will be remembered. Thank you for the photography Kerzdenn!

It was a time to remember the past. Thank you for the slideshow Aleita!

It was a time to enjoy the present to its fullest. Thank you Jevenn!

It was a work of God, a covenant based on divine grace, on trust, on responsibility, on His genuine love which transcends the circumstances.

Thus our family may heartily say that this our joy is fulfilled!
