Excellent site! Thanks for making me aware of it Robert. And what a great time indeed to be about pulling the plug on atheists!

Topical for today’s stressed financial world: who said “Do not make My Father’s house a house of merchandise!” ? The Lord is everywhere and so it is the Lord who will judge Ray’s desire for new sources of revenue. It is a pity that so many innocents are trampled to satisfy Ray’s pride.

Hello byofrcs! Thanks for visiting our family blog and leaving a comment.

I thought about what you said but it didn’t quite make sense. It seems to me that one of two things has to be true. Either Ray is not telling the truth and God does not exist, in which case there is no God to judge “Ray’s desire for sources of revenue.”

Or Ray is telling the truth and there is a God, in which case there is nothing to judge Ray for.

Talking about judgment, this reminds me of Acts 17:30-31: “The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent, because he has fixed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed; and of this he has given assurance to all by raising him from the dead.” (ESV)

You know, God doesn’t command us to listen to Ray Comfort, but He certainly implores us to listen to wisdom; “All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them. They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge… I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was. When there were no depths I was brought forth… Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways. Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not. Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favor of the Lord. But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.” – Proverbs 8

Praise the Lord for sincere, faithful proclaimers and persuaders of the Truth.
